- Developing the Competition Code of Conduct for the broadcasting and print industries for a Southeast Asian government
- Working with a European new convergence regulator on the implementation of spectrum trading
- Advising a Latin American regulator on formulating the future policy for the satellite sector and appropriate regulation
- Working with developing countries' governments and regulators to develop telecoms policy and regulatory regimes
- Defining and quantifying the opportunity cost of greater PSB delivery based upon programming and advertising costs and revenue for an Asia Pacific broadcaster
- Supporting the BBC Governance Unit in the development of the Public Value Test (PVT), using qualitative and quantitative analysis, interviews, workshops and ‘cold testing’
- Building a financial model of the costs of launching High Definition (HD) television services as part of the HD Public Value Test (PVT)
- Evaluating the economic benefit of the British Library in support of a funding review
- Evaluating the economic benefit of launching digital terrestrial television for the country of New Zealand
- Assessing the future for LLU for a Southeast Asian incumbent operator, for submission to the regulator
- Helping to scope the implications of a regulator on an American network’s potential future expansion in the UK television market and prepared the network’s response to the consultation
- Producing a detailed survey of internet regulation across international markets for a European regulator and drawing conclusions about the level of future intervention required
- Advising a Southeast Asian regulator on whether the relationship between a content provider and its pay-TV affiliate was in breach of licensing conditions, with special attention to content provision
- Assessing the potential purpose, scope and mechanics of a new NGN transition industry body for a European regulator, including its role, structure and mechanics
